Calling all successful internet business owners

Like lots of other baby boomers, I have started my own Internet business, WorksLimited.com in order to bring in extra money to help fund the wonderful word - RETIREMENT. I sell handcrafted jewelry items and other gifts. I don't have a lot of money to put into "pay for clicks" or advertising...my question for those of you that have been successful with an internet company is....How do you get traffic to your website? Thanks in advance for your help and have a great day.

Pay per clicks, or sponsored searches don't have to cost a lot. You set your monthly budget, and when you reach it, no more sponsored ads. You could try starting at 5ยข per click, with a monthly max of $50 and see what you get. Be careful about your search words, you don't want invalid leads. Google will walk you through the entire process.

Have a web site that uses the most current programming languages. Most search engines search for web content these days, as opposed to meta tags. Managing the content is Search Engine Optimization, or SEO.

Make sure your site is cohesive, easy to navigate, clear and easy to understand. If people can't figure it out, experience broken links, or have other difficulties, that's it, it's over. They will not be back.

Good luck!
