Laughing all the way by Pat Detmer

About Pat Detmer

Pat is an award-winning humor writer who looks pretty much like her picture on on a good day.

Pat has published columns in the Seattle Times, The Newcastle News, The Eastside Journal, and had a humorous column in The Whidbey Marketplace for four years. She also appeared in Newsweek's "My Turn."

She's won or placed in several fiction contests, most of them having to do with speed (24-hour from topic assignment to finished piece), brevity (100-word and 200-word shorts), or scenarios where the characters are already established and full-blown (3 appearances in Star Trek's Strange New Worlds short story anthologies.)

You can contact Pat through her website: www.PatDetmer.com.
