Lunch was at the Salty Dog in Liberal, Kansas, after six hours on the road. Since I was ready to take over at the wheel, the hubster decided to order a cold one. He chose the featured brew of the house - Shock Top, a Belgian wheat ale. The waitress told us that this particular beer would actually proliferate if handled properly. All he had to do was pour the beer down the side of his frosted glass, leaving a half-inch in the bottom of the bottle. Then he was to roll the bottle, back and forth on its side, and somehow the beer would expand and grow. (Can you say "loaves and fishes"?)
This we had to see.
