Let me state this for the record: I WILL be wearing white pants after Labor Day, darn it, and I'll probably be in sandals until mid-October. Still, it seems wrong to wear bright pink toe polish going into September.
Enter "Catherine the Grape" from the OPI's Russian collection. While on a a weekend vacation last fall, I let a pedicure technician (she was an artist, really) talk me into trying her favorite new purple color. Believe me, I was a hard sell. But what a color it was! I can't wait to dip my toes in the grape again.
That's on the agenda for my Labor Day weekend, along with welcoming home my prodigal son who's been out of the country since January 2nd. Let the holiday weekend begin!
