After this post, I'm going to don my souvenir t-shirt, pictured above, and abide by its clever slogan. I'm going to have myself a real Labor Day holiday, with NO LABOR....at least, on the computer.
Last night, we welcomed our son home after a nine-month trip abroad. We stayed up late, and toasted his return into the wee hours. (Would you believe, I slept until 10:30 this morning?)
Today, my plans include even more celebrating and a little housekeeping (second child coming home to roost - even temporarily - suddenly makes the house feel a bit close and cluttered). I'll not be online until tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, you've got one more day (bonus!) to enter the "You Deserve It" giveaway this month. Deadline has been extended to tomorrow at 5 pm CDT.
And let's keep our friends in Louisiana in our thoughts and prayers today. They're going to need them.
