I am a "Kiwi" who has been living in the States for the past 8 years. Let me tell you that you are going to LOVE living in New Zealand! I am guessing that since your husband will be with Canterbury Uni, then you'll be living in Christchurch. You're lucky as it is a great place. That's where I am from and I miss it. It's a very "English" type city with a river running through the center and many beautiful public gardens to visit. The people are friendly and I am sure they'll make you feel welcome. All the best for your trip, and if you want to know anything that will help in your transition, then feel free to contact me anytime. Montymom

Whew! What a relief to find others who feel the same way we do. Thanks for putting it out there Marcia.
